The cowardly lion costume worn by actor Bert Lahr in the 1939 Wizard of Oz film is going up for auction. It is expected estimated to go for between £200,000 and £300,000 on auction site eBay on 14 and 15 December 2006. The lion costume was made from real lion hides, sewn together and is now mounted on a pedestal in the memorable "Put 'em up, put 'em up" pose from the film.
