We hope that you are keeping safe and well during this coronavirus outbreak.
Our priority is to continue to safely run our operations for you. Our team are all home safe with their families, however as we are a small family business, Sarah is still working hard to ensure orders continue to be fulfilled and Lisa is working at home on our newsletters.
Sparkling Strawberry is an online business and UK Government guidance issued on 27th March about “Closing certain businesses and venues” specifies that “Online retail is still open and encouraged and postal and delivery service will run as normal.”
Nearly all of our UK parcels are delivered by Royal Mail. They have, understandably, suspended their delivery guarantees. You can read how they are keeping you and their employees safe on the Royal Mail Coronavirus Update page
To reassure you, Royal Mail state that “Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus.” The NHS state that “It's very unlikely it can be spread through things like packages.” Having said that, it makes sense to wash your hands after unpacking anything that could have been touched by someone else.
Extended Returns Period:
If you wish to return part or all of your order for a refund or exchange, please notify us as usual within 14 days of the day after delivery of the item. However, to avoid unnecessary journeys, you now have until 31st August 2020 to return the items to us. We are of course still accepting returns as usual in the meantime.
If you can add an item to your cart, then it is in stock here in Tarporley. We do not drop ship and we do not rely on any other organisations to fulfil our orders, other than delivery companies, e.g. Royal Mail.
